Unfortunately due to unforeseen medical and other reasons the 2020 tour for the Dominion of Canada Pipes & Drums has now been cancelled.
Due to the late date we will not be able to put together a proper tour for 2020. We have listened to our members and decided to regroup for 2021. We have also decided after much consultation with past and present tour members to expand our Horizons and do something a little different. Add a little extra to our tours.
Where we can we will include some venues from the 2020 tour that proved to be very popular.
Scotland is the home of the Great Highland Bagpipes and as such is always special and a must for any of our tours. We can also though include and expand our Celtic heritage and culture.
To that end the 2021 tour will be labeled the "Celtic Connection " and will include two of the great Celtic Nations. Ireland and Scotland.
We intend to visit sites on the west coast of Scotland that we have always wished to see. Mull and Iona, are two that will be included.
Iona is the burial site of Scotland's first Kings and is one of one of the oldest religious communities in Scotland. Iona also was the landing place of the original Irish Monks who brought the faith to Scotland. It is also the site where he early Scottish Kings were crowned.
The 2021 tour site is under construction as we are now in the planning stages. We will arrive in Glasgow and depart from Dublin. We anticipate the trip to be 14 days in duration and the dates, itinerary and pricing will be available in the New Year.
Please check this page regularly as we will update it as more details become available.
As well in the new year we will open up the booking page and will be accepting registrations with deposits as soon as the itinerary is finalized. Until then.....
